Asthma Tracker
Your health information stays on your device. We do not collect, receive or share your symptoms, peak flow readings, medications or any other health data, and none of it is ever given to the advertising service. The App shows non-personalised ads, described in section 5.
Asthma Tracker ("the App") helps you record asthma symptoms, peak flow readings, triggers, exposures and medications, and view trends over time.
This policy explains what information the App handles. The App is published on Google Play by Kilowatt Labs under the package name tech.kilowatts.asthmatracker.
The App stores only what you enter, in its private storage on your device:
Kilowatt Labs does not operate servers that receive this data, and we never see it.
The App asks only for the permissions it needs:
You can change permissions at any time in your device's settings.
The only third party that receives data is Google, through the AdMob advertising SDK described in the next section. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
The App shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
This information is collected and handled by Google, not by Kilowatt Labs. We never receive your personal information from AdMob. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
The App requests non-personalised ads only. Ads are not targeted using your interests or activity, and none of the health information you record is ever shared with Google or any advertiser.
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads). Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK) you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
The App is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and does not give medical advice. Always follow your asthma action plan and your healthcare provider's advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (000 in Australia).
Because health information is sensitive, it is kept only in the App's private storage on your device. If you use the export feature, the App creates a report and hands it to the email or sharing app you choose. What happens next is governed by that app's privacy policy.
The App is not directed at children under 13. A parent or guardian may use it to record information for a child. We do not collect any of that information.
If the App's data handling changes, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date before the change is released.
